East Moriches, NY Electrician

Done Right, Priced Up Front

East West Express Lighting & Electric is a licensed electrical contractor based in East Moriches, working the East End of Suffolk County: Westhampton, Quogue and Hampton Bays along the south shore, Southampton and Water Mill further out, and Riverhead, Jamesport and Mattituck up on the North Fork. Andrew runs the jobs with a crew of three, and the person who quotes your work is the person who shows up to do it.

Most of our calls fall into a few buckets. Houses that need more power than their panel can give: EV chargers, heat pumps, additions, a hot tub. Storm-season work: standby generators, portable-generator hookups, service masts pulled loose by a limb. Lighting inside and out, which is where the company name comes from. And the emergency calls nobody plans for, which we take 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. Every job gets a written price before the work starts and a clean site when it is done.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Andrew has been doing electrical work for nine years. He got his Suffolk County licence in 2024 and opened East West Express the same year, and what started as one man and a van is now Andrew plus three electricians. The name says what the business was built on, lighting, and the work has grown to cover everything behind it: panels, chargers, generators, overhead service and the calls that cannot wait.

  • Suffolk County licence #70709, fully insured, permits pulled in every town we work in
  • A written price before work starts, and a call before anything changes
  • 24-hour emergency service Monday to Saturday; the phone is answered on Sunday too

Why East End Homeowners Call Us

Written quote, whole job

Breaker, wire, mounting, permit and inspection are all in the number you get, so the invoice matches it.

Licensed and permitted

Suffolk County licence #70709. Most of this work needs an electrical permit and an inspection; we pull it and meet the inspector.

PSEG coordination

Service upgrades and overhead repairs need the utility to disconnect and reconnect. We schedule it and do the work in that window.

Based on the East End

East Moriches is fifteen minutes from Westhampton and under forty from Southampton, so you are not paying for a truck from Nassau.

Common Questions

Which areas do you cover?

The East End of Suffolk County, from East Moriches out. Westhampton, Quogue, Hampton Bays, Southampton and Water Mill on the South Fork; Riverhead, Aquebogue, Jamesport and Mattituck on the North Fork; and the hamlets in between. The service areas page has the full list.

Do I need a permit for an EV charger or a panel?

In every town we work in, yes: a new charger circuit, a panel replacement or a service upgrade needs an electrical permit and an inspection. We include the permit in the quote and handle the paperwork.

Can you give a price over the phone?

For small jobs, often. For panels, chargers, generators and anything involving the service, we look first, because the run, the panel capacity and the access decide the price. The look is free and the quote is in writing.

Are you really available at night?

Monday through Saturday, yes, around the clock for emergencies. On Sunday the phone is answered and we can talk you through it, but the crew does not go out unless it is unsafe to wait.
